1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: email address and name when you create an account via Clerk. We also collect usage data (pages visited, picks viewed) and payment information processed securely by Stripe — we never store raw card numbers. Clerk handles all authentication data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used to: provide and improve the Service, manage your subscription, send transactional emails (receipts, password resets), and communicate product updates. We do not use your data to build advertising profiles or sell to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We share data only with trusted service providers required to operate the Service: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), and Vercel (hosting). Each provider operates under their own data protection policies and is contractually prohibited from using your data for other purposes.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication session management (via Clerk). We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from signing in to the Service.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records retained for 7 years for tax compliance).
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@playerpropsai.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords via Clerk, and Row Level Security on our database. No system is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
